The ARRAYAN is a tree or bush of persistent foliage. Grows in very humid lands, in the cost of the rivers and lakes. They are great almost pure forests formed by individual people called arrayanales or quitrales. the flowering takes place in the summer and is prominent for the forest honey production. Its fruit is an "edible berry" of black or purple color call arrayana, or mitao by some people, to resemblance of the fruit of the patagonia.
